Tracy R. Jacox was born in Jackson, TN and graduated from Memphis Central High School. She joined the Air Force, where she served as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.  During her eleven years of honorable service, she received her Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Studies from the Community College of the Air Force.  She also received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Upon separation from the Air Force, she was accepted into the Physician Assistant Program and graduated with her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has practiced as a Certified Physician Assistant for more than fifteen years.
